The combination of EcoBio-Block's action on organic waste together with plantings which take up left over nitrates, makes the EboBio-Planter an exceptionally effective as well as attractive, addition to a fishtank.

The EcoBio-Planter has about a two inch diameter hole. This is large enough to accommodate a small plant with shallow roots. Which species of plants one would choose would depend on other factors such as light. With low to moderate light, the best choice would probably be slow growing plants such as Anubias, Java fern, and Cryptocoryne species. With higher light levels one could use various bunched stem plants that would require frequent pruning and re planting. An extra benefit is that it can be easily moved and placed whereever desired for optimum esthetics.
